Advanced Instrumentation for Veterinarians

Wireless Products Overview

Go Wireless...Go Digital with Vmed Bluetooth Wireless monitors.  Bluetooth is free of interference and is omni-directional to a range of 100 meters, line of sight.  All controls except keyboard entry are at the patients' side.  Save space, eliminate cables and store files automatically.  These monitors establish a wireless link to your Windows desktop, laptop or tablet computer to display real-time patient monitoring waveforms and digital data on your computer screen.  Monitor up to seven patients on one computer.  Files may be recalled for ECG and CO2 waveform analysis, transmitted by email or printed in a concise report.  All hardware, software and monitoring accessories are provided with our multi-parameter patient monitor and our ECG monitor as described below.

PC-Vet Gard+  is a  wireless, multi-parameter patient monitor that is scalable.  The basic unit includes ECG, blood pressure, respiration, temperature and Sp02.  Add C02, O2, N2O and five anesthesia agents at any time without purchasing a new unit.  The PC-VetGard+ weighs a mere 19 ounces with all parameters.  May be used with AC line current or the internal rechargeable battery for optimum portability.

PC-Vet  is a wireless, hand-held  ECG Monitor powered by two AA batteries with a 50 hour life.  Use for ECG diagnostic screening, surgical monitoring and long term or critical care monitoring.

Other Products Overview

ECG Interpreter  ECG Interpretation software program is for use on Windows XP and 2000 computers with Vmed PCVet and PC-VetGard™ wireless monitors.  A special version of the Vmed Interpreter is also available for use with VetLogix VET-BIOLOG handheld ECG monitors. The user friendly Vmed Interpreter provides one click normal/abnormal determination with simple follow-on commands for more detailed analyses of ECG rhythms and conduction disturbances. Interpreter algorithms were developed specifically for veterinary medicine from hundreds of actual feline and canine, size specific animal files.

Vet-Dop  is a Doppler animal blood pressure monitor designed to detect blood flow in the arteries and veins of small animals. (And horses when detected at the base of the tail).  When used with an animal blood pressure cuff of appropriate size and a sphygmomanometer, systolic blood pressure can be determined non-invasively.  The Vet-Dop is used to measure blood pressure on an awake animal to aid in the diagnosis of certain diseases where hypertension is a symptom, checking vascularity after trauma, monitoring blood flow at the extremities and taking systolic blood pressure during surgery.

Ultrascope Dopplers are hand-held ultrasonic Doppler stethoscopes used for blood flow and fetal detection in mamals and exotic animal applications.  Applications include fetal confirmation, cardio-vascular evaluation of invertebrates and small mammals and the early detection of pregnancy in small mammals.

VacuPads are used to support and position animals for surgery, x-ray, ultrasound and MRI procedures and to help maintain body temperature while under anesthesia.  VacuPads are designed specifically for small animals weighing up to eighty pounds.
