PC-VetGard +
is hand-held, battery operated, wireless patient monitors that
display dynamic multiple monitoring parameters on your Windows based
computer. The Bluetooth adaptor provided establishes a wireless link to your
computer. Bluetooth is Omni-directional and virtually free of interference,
ensuring a consistent, reliable wireless connection anywhere in the clinic
or outside. The Bluetooth wireless expected range in the clinic environment
is 50-100 yards in practice. The bonus Reviewer software ads to the VetGard's versatility
and includes automatic file storage, dynamic playback of traces, electronic
ECG calipers, help in identifying and measuring ECG complexes and a table of
normal ECG values for cats and dogs.
The new VetGard+ is scalable in that you purchase only the
monitoring modalities you want now with the flexibility of adding additional
capability later without having to purchase a new monitor. The following
monitoring modalities are available separately all packaged into a 19 oz.

Cables and bulky equipment are a thing of the past in the
modern veterinary surgical suite with VetGard monitors. Artifact
suppression and low noise electronics offer the cleanest, most stable ECG
trace possible. The VetGards are equipped with Nellcor Vet-Sat animal
tested digital pulse oximeter. Blood pressure and C02
modalities are also tested and verified for use on small animals. A full
range of sensors provide digital readout of heart rate, respiration rate,
core body temperature, blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation levels and
inspired/expired gases including O2, N2O
and five anesthesia agents all combined in a compact, battery operated
monitor with revolutionary software for an interference free, wireless link
to your computer. By selecting a large screen display connected to your
desktop, laptop or tablet computer, patient monitoring displays are visible
as never before. VetGards can
be used in the exam room too. Use the included chest sensor and low force
leg clips for quick ECG exams and pre-surgical screens. Use the optional
Vmed Interpreter, ECG interpretation software to screen for heart
abnormalities that may cause problems before, during or after surgery.

REVIEWER PROGRAM
Reviewer file storage software is included with each VetGard. This
program is used to store and archive patient files recorded from the VetGard.
The Reviewer program includes complete documentation of patient information
and ECG sweep, real-time playback of ECG traces, electronic measurement of
ECG complexes, file archive, one click email, automatic documentation of
alarms and vital signs, and more.

are included. 50 examples of commonly seen abnormalities and

for the Small Animal Practitioner" by Larry Tilley and Naomi
Burtnick. One click Normal-Abnormal determination with detailed
analysis of charts up to two hours long. Files can be stored on
your computer hard drive automatically or manually and recalled for
review, further analyses and email transmission. Thirty free
